The Airtight Garage was colored for the first time when it was released in 1987, as part of the Starwatcher Graphics/Marvel Epic joint publishing effort. Opinions get heated when it comes to coloring Airtight, but I really like them. I like that they use flat colors for the most part, but painted them, allowing for wild choices and giving a texture that keeps things exciting while not intruding on Moebius’ linework.
The colorists involved in this project are, in order, from the credits page of Moebius 2: The Airtight Garage(Marvel/Epic, 1987): Moebius, Isabelle Leconte, Rick Wayne, Arlette Auvergne, Allison Kendis, and Chris Palomino
